A working timeline for EverWest, from its earliest remodeling roots through integrated design-build, ground-up construction, coastal work, and the new EverWest identity.
2008
INCORPORATION
On July 28, 2008, Remodel Solutions, Inc. was formally incorporated in California, giving the growing business its corporate foundation.
2015
BRINGING DESIGN IN-HOUSE
As projects became more sophisticated, Spaces Renewed began taking greater ownership of architectural planning, spatial design, and interior detailing. The Lambert residence on Nevada Street marks an early turning point: outside architectural plans by James A. Chinn transitioned into detailed project drawings produced directly through Spaces Renewed later that year.
2019
FROM RENOVATION TO GROUND-UP CONSTRUCTION
Hogan is completed, marking the company’s first ground-up residential project. Internal project history records the Big Reveal on April 16, 2019, and the Notice of Completion on April 19, 2019. This milestone demonstrates that the integrated thinking developed through complex renovations could now shape a home from the ground up.
2026
EVERWEST
Nearly two decades after the business began, Spaces Renewed becomes EverWest Design & Custom Build, a name that more fully represents what the company had already become: an integrated design-build firm creating significant homes, navigating complex sites and shaping a distinctly coastal San Diego way of living.
2007
THE BEGINNING
Remodel Solutions began operating in June 2007, establishing the residential remodeling business that would eventually become EverWest.
2014
SPACES RENEWED
By 2014, Remodel Solutions was operating under the Spaces Renewed identity. Archived client contracts carry the Spaces Renewed name, website, and the positioning “Home Redesign, Rebuild & Remodel,” signaling a broader approach than traditional remodeling alone.
2016
COMING HOME TO CARLSBAD
The first Miller project brought Spaces Renewed into Terramar, the coastal Carlsbad neighborhood where Beth grew up. Designing and building in the community that shaped her connection to coastal living was a meaningful full-circle moment - and an early expression of the relationship between home, place, and lifestyle that would later become central to EverWest. The Miller family later returned for a second phase.
2021 - 2022
REACHING THE OCEANFRONT
Ocean Street establishes a new level of coastal work: three residences, three ownership groups, and one oceanfront structure requiring coordinated architecture, engineering, interiors, and construction. Primary work culminated around 2021, with additional exterior/HOA work continuing into 2022. For the public website, the milestone can be presented as the company’s first comprehensive oceanfront project, while the exact completion date is intentionally left unspecified.
